General Manager
High-energy individual with excellent people skills responsible for cultivating an encouraging atmosphere that fosters collaboration within the store team, ensuring continuous commitment to operational excellence. In this role, the General Manager will enhance the team's skills to provide the 'Smoothie King Experience' for both team members and guests, devising impactful strategies to achieve positive outcomes and balancing other corporate priorities, focusing on strategic, operational and leadership excellence.
Position requirements: 2 years of college education minimum, Bachelor's in business, hospitality management, or a similar field is preferred.
Minimum 2 years experience as a manager or supervisor of a team in a restaurant or similar type business.
Valid driver's license and ability to provide proof of adequate car insurance.
Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel, and general POS functionality)
ServSafe Certification
Personal passion for health and fitness a plus!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training Team Members.
Overseeing daily workflow of the team.
Providing constructive and timely evaluations.
Handling discipline and termination of team members in accordance with company policy.
The overall management of the team, covering staffing, sourcing, onboarding and scheduling.
Empowering Team Members with the right knowledge, skills, and abilities to achieve excellence.
Leveraging appropriate systems to consistently provide the Smoothie King Experience and offer guidance for continuous improvement.
Ensuring optimal product placement and quantities to enhance sales growth while minimizing waste.
Fostering a positive work environment, encouraging open communication, and promoting Team Member involvement in decision-making processes.
