In this hands-on role, you will work closely to support the Farm Manager to execute the planting, spraying, irrigating and harvesting of all crops. In this role, you will serve as a lead operator while actively supporting the coordination of our seasonal workforce. You’ll also work closely with our precision agriculture technology and crop management data, contributing to informed decision-making and efficient field operations. Responsibilities also include managing the manure application on our fields. This role is ideal for someone who is an applicator and looking to progress in their career as well as someone who already leads a small team in farming operations.

What you will be doing:
- Assist in the supervision of crop management including tillage, irrigation, planting, spraying, growing, and harvesting
- Operate equipment for planting and spray application
- Monitor crop health throughout the growing season
- Oversee the precision ag technology and equipment calibration
- Operate and repair farm equipment when necessary
- Lead and direct individuals and teams in performing a wide array of agricultural functions across the farm
- Coordinate with local ag retail locations on agronomy recommendations and outside custom manure applicators
- Collect and assess operational data to assist leadership in improving organizational efficiency
- Lead seasonal employees during the peak growing season
- Support compliance with all safety measures across the farm
