Associate Veterinarian

Scott's Addition Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time associate veterinarian to join our two-doctor team.  We are a busy and progressive, family operated small animal general practice.  Our hospital is located in Richmond, Virginia's historic Scott's Addition District. Scott's Addition is the center of Richmond's brewery and restaurant scene, located close to many museums,  parks, and exciting nightlife. 

 SAAH has been serving Richmond and the surrounding area for 4 years.  In addition to our 2 full-time veterinarians, we currently have a well-trained support team of which many of its members have been employed since opening day.  Our current support team consists of five licensed technicians, four veterinary assistants, and two customer service representatives. We strive to practice the highest quality medicine and develop long lasting relationships with our clients while meeting our core values which are respect, empathy, and compassion daily.  Our hospital is equipped with a large surgical suite, surgical laser, therapeutic laser, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and a complete Idexx in-house laboratory.  

We are looking for new graduates or experienced veterinarians whose goal is to create a positive impact in the lives of patients and their owners.  An ideal candidate would be a compassionate, self-motivated, team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Must have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.

Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Virginia.
