Summer Day Camp Staff
Job Description
The day camp staff member is responsible for developing a cohesive team and managing the day-to-day operational activities for camp while maintaining understanding of school age children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development. The summer day camp staff member is responsible for creating a safe yet stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example; encourage the children to work as a team to succeed by coaching and modeling.
- Coordinate and implement educational and engaging activities developmentally appropriate for school age children.
- Plan activities for school age children to encourage their social, physical, cognitive and emotional growth.
- Maintain frequent communications with parents on children's daily activities.
- Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards according to the state of Ohio and the safety and security of children.
- Ensure all program policies and state standards are met.
Additional Requirements
- Must be 17 years of age
- High energy and the ability to work well with others and to foster a team environment.
- Leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must clear a full background check and must pass a health screening.
Time frame

Wage Range
- $12-$15
