Seasonal Public Health Assistant

Barnstable County, department of Health & Environment is seeking full time Public Health Assistant for inspection of food service establishments, swimming pools and laboratory analysis for the summer season. Academic major in public health, environmental health or environmental science required. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent opportunity for students.  Must have a valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s License. Experience is not necessary.

Applicants must be available to work for the entire duration of the summer season from May 19, 2026 until August 29, 2026, no exceptions.
