IT Innovation Intern

 

Job Summary: The Kimray Internship Program offers students hands-on experience in a professional manufacturing environment. Interns work alongside industry experts, contribute to real projects, and develop technical and professional skills for future success. Guided by our mission—to make a difference in the lives of those we serve—Kimray provides an internship experience built on service, integrity, and continuous improvement. Through mentorship and collaboration, interns gain insight into our culture and the values that drive innovation and excellence at Kimray.

Essential Job Functions:

In addition to a summer project, there will be opportunities to do some of the following, based on project assignment

  • Conduct research on emerging AI tools and use cases
  • Support with the development of Tableau dashboards to improve data visualization and insights
  • Assist with the gathering and documenting of business and technical requirements for upcoming projects
  • Help design and enhance our SharePoint intranet with tools and organizational structure
  • Provide technical support to team members and end users in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on technology-related initiatives.
  • Learn and apply Kimray's IT standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI is preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Windows operating systems, and basic networking concepts
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative environment.
  • Must pass background check and drug screen
