Ph.D. Research Assistant

The Moor research group at the Utah Water Research Laboratory is recruiting a Ph.D. student to join a recently funded NSF CAREER project on developing sustainable plastic additives. The project will focus on bio-inspired light stabilizers. Students interested in environmental chemistry, biodegradable plastics, and their end-of-life management should apply. The anticipated start date is Spring 2027.

Applicants are sought with backgrounds in environmental engineering, environmental science, chemistry, chemical engineering, or other related fields. Candidates with research experience in environmental chemistry or photochemistry are especially encouraged to apply.
