Veterinary Technician
Love hands-on patient care and working with a supportive team? The Valley Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced, three-doctor practice in Rifle, CO. Whether you’re credentialed or experienced and still growing, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, surgery, and treatments
- Run diagnostics, collect lab samples, take radiographs, and draw vaccines
- Place IV catheters, administer medications/fluids, and monitor anesthesia
- Support dental procedures, surgical prep, and patient recovery
- Keep medical records accurate and treatment areas clean and organized
- Deliver compassionate care to pets and their people while working as a true team
What We’re Looking For
- Veterinary technician experience required (RVT/CVT/LVT a plus, not required)
- Strong technical skills or the motivation to keep learning
- Team-oriented, detail-driven, and great with clients
- A calm, compassionate approach to patient care
Pay & Perks
- $16–$21/hour, based on experience and credentials
- Part-Time: Paid sick time + employee discounts
