Market Research Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating proposals assigned by project leaders and/or managers
  • Work on designing projects like go-to-market strategy, brand audit, consumer research, supply chain and value chain analysis for both B2B and B2C companies.
  • Extensive and comprehensive desk research on market trends, industries, or specific businesses
  • Social listening on key online platforms (e.g. Xiaohongshu, Douyin, Weibo) to analyze clients’ and leads’ brand image and identify the latest consumption trends 
  • Review quantitative and qualitative data to look for trends and other insights
  • Translation of documents

Required:

  • English IELTS 7 or above and native Mandarin
  • Background in economics, business, statistics, or other relevant majors (completed or working toward a bachelor’s degree or above)
  • Experience in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and good time management skills
  • Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Good understanding of the Chinese economy
  • Work well within a multi-cultural team
  • Candidates with previous experience in consulting or market research preferred
