Market Research Analyst
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating proposals assigned by project leaders and/or managers
- Work on designing projects like go-to-market strategy, brand audit, consumer research, supply chain and value chain analysis for both B2B and B2C companies.
- Extensive and comprehensive desk research on market trends, industries, or specific businesses
- Social listening on key online platforms (e.g. Xiaohongshu, Douyin, Weibo) to analyze clients’ and leads’ brand image and identify the latest consumption trends
- Review quantitative and qualitative data to look for trends and other insights
- Translation of documents
Required:
- English IELTS 7 or above and native Mandarin
- Background in economics, business, statistics, or other relevant majors (completed or working toward a bachelor’s degree or above)
- Experience in the use of Microsoft PowerPoint
- Demonstrate excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and good time management skills
- Work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Good understanding of the Chinese economy
- Work well within a multi-cultural team
- Candidates with previous experience in consulting or market research preferred
