Product Quality Analyst – Finance (Part-Time)

Terminal X is looking for detail-oriented Product Quality Analysts to join our Product team remotely on a part-time basis.

In this role, you'll ensure the accuracy and reliability of Terminal X's AI-generated financial insights by validating that our agents retrieve, extract, and synthesize data correctly. You'll work directly with real user queries from top institutional investors, verifying numbers, tracing sources, and catching edge cases that could impact million-dollar decisions.

About Terminal X

Terminal X is building a Superintelligent AI Agent for institutional investors. We turn unstructured proprietary data and public financial information into decision-ready intelligence. Our platform centralizes everything from internal Excel models and memos to SEC filings, earnings transcripts, and broker research, all searchable through natural language.

Our clients include hedge funds, asset managers, private equity firms, and family offices who rely on Terminal X to automate complex research workflows and surface insights that drive alpha.

About the Role

As a Product Quality Analyst, you'll be responsible for quality control on Terminal X's AI-generated responses to user queries. This means:

  • Reviewing user questions submitted by institutional investors and the AI-generated answers our platform provides
  • Opening and reading source documents (SEC filings, earnings transcripts, research reports, internal memos, financial models) to verify accuracy
  • Ensuring numbers, facts, and insights in AI responses correctly tie out to original sources
  • Identifying edge cases, errors, or areas where retrieval or synthesis breaks down
  • Flagging issues to the Product team to improve prompt engineering and system performance
  • Using AI translation tools to validate documents in Korean and other languages when needed
  • Documenting findings and patterns to help scale our quality processes

This is detail-oriented, high-stakes work. You'll see firsthand how institutional investors use AI to make investment decisions, and your work directly impacts the reliability of insights they depend on.
