Undergraduate Intern

Position Summary:

The Station Casinos Internship Program is an 8-week development program which includes hands-on experience, day-to-day operational learning and includes a department specific project. The program is specifically designed to develop current college students that have demonstrated interest and aptitude in the hospitality industry.

Essential Functions:

  1. Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Station Casinos’ “We Win Hearts” Guest Service.
  2. Provide support to the assigned department in completing tasks/assignments.
  3. Additional related duties as requested by department management/internship coordinator.
  4. Collaborate with Company leaders and partner with operational experts in each department.
  5. Learn the company’s quality standards and become familiarized with the day to day operations.
  6. Assist with various operational tasks, projects, conduct analytical and competitive research, attend departmental and company-wide events, meetings, functions, and other duties as assigned.
  7. Attend all Intern Learning Sessions for the duration of the internship.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
  2. Positive, can-do attitude required
  3. Comfortable working independently, but able to function effectively as part of a team
  4. Flexible, versatile, multitasker and a fast learner, capable of adapting to a fluid environment
  5. Well organized, detail oriented, and able to handle tasks under minimal to moderate supervision
  6. Proficient in use of a PC computer and application software to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet Explorer
  7. Able to speak, read and write English fluently
  8. Present a well-groomed appearance and professional manner
  9. Able to meet and adhere to departmental and company policies and procedures, including dress code
  10. College level coursework in business, hospitality, finance, food & beverage, information technology, human resources, or related concentration
  11. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  12. Must be 21+
