Role Overview
Ambia Solar is hiring Solar Setters to join our in person door-to-door sales team. This is a career-track position, not an internship or short-term role.
Solar Setters are the first point of contact with homeowners. You’ll work door-to-door in assigned neighborhoods to educate homeowners on rising electricity costs and schedule free solar consultations. High performers move quickly into leadership and higher-earning roles within the company.
Ambia operates in 45 states nationwide. Our Philadelphia market is our primary focus this season, and housing is provided for reps working there. If relocation isn’t a fit, we can often accommodate local or nearby markets as well.
This role is designed for individuals who want income growth, leadership development, and long-term opportunity in the renewable energy industry.
Responsibilities
- Conduct door-to-door outreach in residential neighborhoods
- Professionally engage homeowners and introduce solar solutions
- Qualify homeowners and schedule solar consultation appointments
- Work closely with closers and management to ensure appointment quality
- Learn and apply sales communication and objection-handling skills
- Consistently hit performance and activity goals
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and people skills
- Comfortable with door-to-door sales and in-person conversations
- Competitive, driven, and goal-oriented mindset
- Coachable and open to structured training
- Willing to work outdoors and on your feet
- Sales experience helpful, but not required
