QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Must pass background check, drug test and pre-employment physical. Experience with children preferred.

AVAILABILITY: MUST BE AVAILABLE MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY from 8:15 am-1:00 PM through May 21st, 2026. Summer employment also available but is not required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Working with 3-5 year olds in a preschool setting located in Fred Fuller Park at the Roy H. Smith Shelterhouse. Completing lesson plans aligned with Creative Curriculum, collaborating with other educators, independently managing a group of up to 12 preschoolers, adapting to the behavioral and educational needs of children, communicating with parents, attending monthly staff meetings and child development trainings etc.

RATE OF PAY: $12.50-$15.00/hr (based on education and experience)
