Position Summary:
The Sports Operations & Event Management Intern supports the daily execution of all baseball and non-baseball events at Clingstones Ballpark. This role is highly hands-on, fast-paced, and central to creating a safe, organized, and engaging event environment for fans, players, and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with game-day setup and teardown, including signage, equipment, activations, and hospitality areas
- Support execution of on-field promotions and in-game entertainment
- Coordinate with vendors, community groups, and partner organizations during events
- Help monitor ballpark cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness
- Organize and manage equipment inventory, storage, and maintenance
- Participate in special events (tournaments, theme nights, festivals, youth events)
- Provide general operational support to stadium leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong interest in sports operations or event management
- Ability to lift 25–40 lbs and work extended hours on event days
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- High degree of reliability and initiative
