Stadium Operations Intern

Sports Operations & Event Management Intern

Department: Ballpark Operations
Reports To: Director of Stadium Operations
Duration: Seasonal (Spring, Summer, or Full Season)
Compensation: Paid 

Position Summary:
The Sports Operations & Event Management Intern supports the daily execution of all baseball and non-baseball events at Clingstones Ballpark. This role is highly hands-on, fast-paced, and central to creating a safe, organized, and engaging event environment for fans, players, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with game-day setup and teardown, including signage, equipment, activations, and hospitality areas
  • Support execution of on-field promotions and in-game entertainment
  • Coordinate with vendors, community groups, and partner organizations during events
  • Help monitor ballpark cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness
  • Organize and manage equipment inventory, storage, and maintenance
  • Participate in special events (tournaments, theme nights, festivals, youth events)
  • Provide general operational support to stadium leadership

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong interest in sports operations or event management
  • Ability to lift 25–40 lbs and work extended hours on event days
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • High degree of reliability and initiative
