Associate, Creative Services
DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW:
The Creative Services department within Fenway Sports Management oversees and develops innovative partnership presentation materials for all Fenway Sports Group owned and operated properties, as well as 3rd party representation, and assists with marketing related materials for Boston Common Golf. The Creative Services department aims to elevate visuals and narratives surrounding all produced materials, including decks, design, video and multimedia.
This associateship is a part of our larger FSM Associate Program and will follow along with the programming throughout the year.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Associate, Creative role is a one-year Associateship that is responsible for supporting the Creative Services department with the development of sales and marketing materials, upholding brand consistency and creative standards, and assist in organizing and updating creative assets and databases. This position will provide recent college graduates and young professionals, who are interested in pursuing a career in sponsorship creative or sports creative services, hands-on experience in a corporate marketplace.
The role is based in Boston and the hourly rate for this role is $22.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and produce mock-ups for partnership presentations and materials for FSG owned properties.
- Maintain and update FSM creative materials and assets (including photography, Adobe files, video, fonts, and logos) across a collection of databases, especially Scoreplay.
- Source imagery across multiple FSG property photo libraries and stock sites.
- Assist designers in re-sizing and editing partnership and marketing graphics for quick delivery.
- Meet with the creative team as appropriate to discuss project scope and brainstorm creative solutions and influence.
- Act as an editor and proofreader for external facing property partnership and marketing creative materials.
- Assist in FSM photography needs when necessary.
- Stay current with design, multimedia, and presentation trends and software.
CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Art, Design or similar field strongly preferred.
- Creative portfolio with design experience required.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign required.
- Proficiency in Powerpoint and Microsoft Suite required.
- Extremely detail-oriented and enjoys working in a fast paced and design driven environment.
- Ability to design renderings and mock-ups of venues and spaces, vehicles, signage, etc. for prospective partners in Adobe Photoshop.
- High level of integrity and ethics, both professional and personal.
- Knowledge of the sports business industry, and any relevant sports creative experience is a plus.
- Experience in Canva a plus.
- Video, animation, and motion graphic skills is a plus.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
- The role has a one-year commitment, running from early June 2026 through early June 2027.
- The role is paid on an hourly basis, based on a 40-hour week, with the ability to earn overtime pay.
