Advertising & Analytics Internship Summer 2026

Advertising & Analytics - Baltimore, Maryland

We're seeking a paid, part-time marketing and analytics intern to join us for the summer. The right intern will be ready to think analytically, work collaboratively, and get hands-on marketing experience with campaigns and analytics tools.

We will begin reviewing applications starting January 2, 2026.

About Mission:

Mission is a brand marketing agency that believes great work comes from the heart, mind, and gut. We build brands, deliver results-driven strategies, champion integrated marketing campaigns, and craft digital experiences. Our thinking is equal parts data and intuition. Our greatest strength as a team? The ability to adapt quickly and steer clear of formulaic thinking.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Assisting the team with campaign optimization, including real-time adjustments to strategy, targeting, and creative assets.
  • Implementing analytics tracking through Google Tag Manager to map data that informs campaign analysis.
  • Creating client-facing reporting that provides valuable data on conversions and KPIs along with recommendations for the future.
  • Keeping the team up-to-date with ongoing research in marketing industry news and changes.

You’ll learn:

  • How to develop and implement comprehensive paid campaign strategies that include both digital and traditional media platforms.
  • How to build, launch & optimize paid digital marketing campaigns in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, LinkedIn, Facebook & Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Reddit, and more.
  • How to plan and execute a buy on traditional media placements like streaming advertising, billboards, radio, public transportation, print, and more.
  • How to analyze campaign performance, create data visualizations, provide strategic insights to clients, and make thoughtful recommendations.
  • How to collaborate with account management, project management, design, copywriting, and development teams to ensure effectiveness across all aspects of digital marketing projects.
  • What it's like to work at a mid-sized creative agency (spoiler alert: it's fun).

Candidates must:

  • Be available to work in-person Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in our Hampden office (no remote applicants).
  • Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited college or university (rising junior or senior).
  • Be inquisitive and methodical with a penchant for telling a story through data.
  • Be seeking or have received a degree in marketing, communications, or other relevant fields of study.

Bonus points for:

  • Being up-to-date on the latest social media trend.
  • Relevant coursework in the fields of marketing, communication, analytics, or social media.
  • Experience managing organic and/or paid social media initiatives.
  • Experience looking at Google Analytics or similar analytics tools.
