Marketing Manager

Marketing Manager

 

This role is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing plans, managing all digital channels, and driving awareness, engagement, and revenue for the hotel.

This position is ideal for a creative, highly organized, and digitally savvy marketer with strong experience in social media, content creation, email marketing, website management, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Brand & Strategy

  • Develop and execute comprehensive pre-opening and ongoing marketing plans.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, agency partners, and creative providers (photographers, videographers, designers).

Social Media Management

  • Plan, produce, and publish content for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
  • Engage with followers, respond to messages, and maintain an active digital community.
  • Track analytics and adjust strategy to improve engagement, reach, and conversions.

Website & CMS Management

  • Oversee hotel website updates, imagery, offer pages, landing pages, and navigation through the CMS.
  • Maintain accuracy and consistency across third-party listings, local directories, and OTA presence.
  • Implement SEO best practices in coordination with digital partners.

Email Marketing

  • Create and deploy email campaigns promoting offers, events, hotel news, and seasonal messages.
  • Segment lists and optimize for engagement, open rates, and booking conversion.
  • Manage pre-stay and post-stay guest email communications where applicable.

Content Creation & Management

  • Write compelling copy for web pages, social posts, ads, brochures, and collateral.
  • Manage photography and video needs, including coordination of shoots and creative direction.
  • Maintain a robust content calendar that aligns with business goals, events, and seasonal campaigns.

Campaigns & Promotions

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns supporting leisure, group, and university-related business.
  • Support hotel opening, special events, packages, programming and community partnerships.
  • Manage paid media initiatives in collaboration with external partners.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor KPIs including website traffic, social performance, email metrics, and booking trends.
  • Produce monthly reporting and insights to guide strategy and budget allocation.
  • Evaluate campaign ROI and make data-driven recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of marketing experience, ideally within hospitality, travel, or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong knowledge of social media strategy, content production, and platform analytics.
  • Experience with CMS platforms and website content management.
  • Proficiency with email marketing tools and CRM platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, SEO, and digital marketing best practices.
  • Proficiency in Canva with strong graphic design skills; ability to create visually compelling content for digital and print.
  • Strong writing, editing, and brand storytelling skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pre-opening hotel or university-associated marketing experience is a plus.
