Candidates should park at 2400 M Street Garage on 24th Street. Please bring your ticket with you. Only parking in the 2400 M Street Garage on 24th Street will be validated. Please walk over to 2445 M Street building located on M Street and enter using the revolving door and our team will be there to welcome you and direct you to the right location. Please plan at least 1 hour to interview.
We will be interviewing for the following position at multiple locations:
Leasing Consultant ($23.05 - $28.17/hr)
Multisite Leasing Consultant ($24.08 - $29.43/hr)
The successful candidate's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.

Leasing Consultant:
The Leasing Consultant utilizes proven sales techniques and customer service skills to manage the sales process, from start to finish; presenting Equity Residential communities in a compelling way, overcoming objections, building rapport with prospects and residents, and providing a high level of customer service to support lease renewals. This position reports to the Community Manager. Travel between assigned communities may be required
Multisite Leasing Consultant:
A primary function of the Multi-Site Leasing Consultant role is to promote Equity Residentials brand for a defined set of communities to achieve maximum occupancy and revenue, as well as delivering a remarkable customer experience. The Multi-site Leasing Consultant spends approximately 60% of his/her time on new sales and tour management, 30% on resident relations and customer service and 10% on leasing administration. This position will utilize proven sales techniques and customer service skills to manage the sales process, from start to finish; presenting Equity Residential communities in a compelling way, building rapport with prospects and residents and providing a high level of customer service to support resident retention. This position will report to the Community Manager or Area Sales Manager. Travel between assigned communities is required.
What You'll Need To Thrive:
- Customer Service and Sales experience preferred.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A valid driver's license, good driving record, auto insurance, and reliable transportation is required if the employee will operate a motorized vehicle (e.g., car, golf cart) during their workday and/or as part of their role.
- Computer literacy and effective communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing in English for all work-related purposes.
- Knowledge of federal and state apartment housing laws
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Office team employees, with limited exceptions, are required to use their own Smartphone to perform certain aspects of their job. The device must have updated software and must be password-protected and compliant with in-house security systems.
- Ability to use the computer effectively and read written communications. Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 15 pounds for the dissemination of documents, supplies, materials, etc. to various locations throughout the office/facility. May be required to climb stairs depending on the property structure.
