Shipping / Logistics Coordinator – Fashion & Apparel
Key Responsibilities
1. Apparel Labeling, Ticketing & Documentation
Generate, review, and print UPC price tickets, hangtags, and stickers for fashion and apparel products using Microsoft Excel and BarTender. Utilize existing Excel files to ensure accuracy of style numbers, color codes, size runs, seasons, and price points. Prepare ticketing for New Jersey stock orders and for wholesale and retail customer accounts requiring tickets to be sent to overseas garment factories (e.g., department store, catalog, and e-commerce accounts). Ensure all labeling meets retailer and brand compliance standards.
2. Systems & Technology
Maintain and update order, allocation, and shipping data using internal systems, including AIMS apparel ERP/order management software. Work confidently across Excel spreadsheets, shared files, and digital reporting tools to support production, fulfillment, and shipping timelines.
3. Apparel Logistics & Shipping Operations
Support and coordinate apparel-specific logistics processes, including allocation by style/color/size, routing compliance, carton labeling, and shipment preparation. Assist with domestic and international shipments to wholesale, retail, and e-commerce partners. This role will grow to include full ownership of preparing and shipping apparel orders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with customer routing guides.
4. Cross-Functional Communication
Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams (merchandising, production, sales, and accounting), overseas factories, freight forwarders, and retail partners. Read, interpret, and apply retail routing guides, vendor manuals, and compliance documents. Maintain clear email communication to resolve issues, confirm requirements, and support smooth order fulfillment.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for apparel order tracking, ticket generation, and data maintenance
- Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems and workflows
- Experience in shipping, logistics, order fulfillment, or operations within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow detailed routing guides, ticketing instructions, and compliance requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- High attention to detail, especially with styles, sizes, pricing, and labeling accuracy
Preferred Qualifications
- Fashion, wholesale, or retail apparel industry experience
- Hands-on experience with UPC ticketing, hangtags, and price labeling for apparel products
- Experience using BarTender or similar labeling software
- Familiarity with apparel production workflows, including style/color/size breakdowns and bulk orders
- Experience coordinating with overseas garment factories and international shipments
- Knowledge of retailer compliance and routing requirements (department store, catalog, or e-commerce accounts)
- Experience with AIMS or other apparel ERP/order management systems
