Sales Manager

MH Hospitality is seeking a Sales Manager to join our sales team in Omaha. In this role, you will support business travel accounts, group room blocks, and help drive revenue across our multi-property hotel portfolio. This role focuses on building strong client relationships, securing group and corporate business, and driving room revenue through proactive sales efforts.

 

What you'll do

  • Develop, manage, and grow business travel accounts (corporate negotiated, government, airline, project, and extended-stay)
  • Secure and support group business including sports teams, corporate travel, project crews, and family stays
  • Prospect for new business through outside sales, networking, calls, and site visits
  • Build long-term client relationships to drive repeat and sustained revenue
  • Assist with sales strategies and initiatives to achieve revenue goals
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate rates, and finalize agreements within company guidelines
  • Track leads, production, and performance metrics
  • Participate in sales and revenue meetings
  • Represent hotel properties at community, business, and networking events

 

What we're looking for

 

Education & Experience

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience preferred
  • Hospitality sales experience strongly preferred

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Proven sales and negotiation abilities
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Computer proficiency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment

 

Working Conditions

  • Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required
  • Significant time spent traveling for outside sales, networking, and conventions
  • Frequent communication with guests, clients, and hotel staff
  • Physical movement throughout the property for tours and meetings

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $36,000 Base + Commission

Job Type: Full-Time

Reports To: General Manager or Director of Sales, depending on property assignment.
