Procurement Intern
Position: Procurement & Business Operations Intern (Student Trainee)
Overview:
This is a learning-focused internship for a current college student interested in the world of business and government operations. As a Procurement & Business Operations Intern, you will get a front-row seat to see how a professional team supports the U.S. Navy. You will work alongside experienced mentors who will introduce you to the basics of purchasing, project coordination, and business processes. This role is designed to provide foundational experience and help you develop core office and administrative skills in a real-world environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist team members with day-to-day administrative and organizational tasks.
Attend training sessions to learn about government procurement and contract fundamentals.
Shadow mentors to understand how business principles are applied in practice.
Help gather and organize information for the team, such as comparing product prices online or in catalogs.
Sit in on team meetings to learn about project planning and business operations.
Support the team by helping with filing, organizing documents, and other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
Degree Focus: Currently enrolled in a Business program.
Class Standing: Open to all current undergraduate students (freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors).
