Communications and Marketing Intern
CopperPoint is excited to offer a dynamic Communications & Marketing Internship in Phoenix for summer 2026. This 12-week paid program is designed to provide hands-on corporate experience, meaningful exposure to day-to-day operations, and valuable preparation for a future career in marketing and communications.
As the Communications & Marketing Intern for CopperPoint, you will work closely with our Brand & Communications team to support internal and external communication strategies, contribute to content development, assist with campaign execution, and help manage a variety of administrative and reporting tasks. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced, collaborative corporate environment.
You will play an active role in advancing CopperPoint’s communication and marketing efforts through tasks such as:
- Supporting internal and external communications, including writing and researching for blogs, internal, C-suite and external emails, in addition to developing and sharing presentations
- Assisting with social media initiatives, including campaign development, content creation, engagement support, and performance reporting.
- Helping manage administrative responsibilities across web databases, internal communication platforms, and coordinating distribution of materials for field employees and events.
- Supporting employee engagement initiatives, including the planning, promotion, communication, and execution of in-person and remote events.
Our ideal candidate brings curiosity, creativity, and a strong desire to learn. You also:
- Are a current college undergraduate pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field.
- Possess excellent writing and verbal skills.
- Are familiar with major social platforms. (Web knowledge/understanding (HTML and/or CSS) a plus but not required!)
- Are adept at understanding marketing principles, reporting, and audience targeting.
- Have proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint). (Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus, and experience with marketing platforms, particularly HubSpot, is an extra plus!)
- Are a self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively and are eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

- Program Dates: May 26, 2026- August 14, 2026.
- Salary: $20 per hour
- Travel Commitment: CopperPoint is thrilled to host all interns at our Phoenix, AZ office in June and August! This exciting, company-sponsored visit will focus on team building, training, and engagement activities, and conclude with a celebration of intern achievements.

- Time Commitment: 30 hours per week
- Benefits: The intern will accrue 0.0692 of Paid Time Off (PTO) per paid hour. The intern will be eligible to participate in CopperPoint’s matching 401(k) plan.
