As part of our mission, we are seeking motivated undergraduate students to join our summer internship program at our Cambridge, MA office. As a Medical Affairs Intern, you will gain exposure to the critical role Medical Affairs plays in bridging science and clinical practice. This internship will provide insight into how Ipsen ensures scientific integrity, compliance, and collaboration across therapeutic areas.
We will not consider graduate students or undergraduate students graduating before December 2026. We are also not providing housing support so students will need to provide their own housing over the course of the 11-week program.
We will not consider graduate students (MBA, MS, PharmD, etc.) or undergraduate students graduating before December 2026. Ideal candidates are Juniors graduating in May/June 2027 and Seniors expected to graduate in Dec 2026.

Main Responsibilities
- Participate in a three-month program in Medical Affairs within our Cambridge, MA office
- Learn the structure and function of Medical Affairs teams, and build relationships with key stakeholders
- Develop an understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and policies for Medical Affairs
- Support content organization and learn appropriate review processes for internal presentations and external materials
- Coordination and communication of information from ongoing projects across functions
- Help drive the success of our innovative medicines in across our three therapeutic areas (Oncology, Rare Disease, Neuroscience)
- Develop an understanding of the biopharmaceutical industry today as well as the challenges and opportunities that will drive the future of Ipsen
Knowledge & Experience:
- Rising senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree
- 3.0 GPA is a minimum requirement
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Fluency in English is required. French and other European languages are an asset
- Ideal candidates can communicate effectively, learn quickly, takes ownership of their work to deliver results, and is a true collaborator
