Project Managing/Quality Manager Intern
Learn and assist in the following
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process
- Hire subcontractor and get necessary paperwork ie. contract, insurance
- Work with architects, engineers and vendors
- Create and respond to RFIs
- Develop project scopes and objectives for Field Staff
- Develop a project plan/schedule to track progress with general superintendent
- Review Schedule contains manpower and time needed to complete task
Track schedules to make sure it is on track compared to GC schedules
- Create and track action plans that describes sequences and scope of each task.
- Create and track draw schedules
- Assist in creating submittal packages
- Create draw schedules for material ordering
- Price and track changes to project scope
- Procore
- Track RFI’s, Change Orders, Submittals, update drawings, Action plans
- Ensure all quality systems are being conducted on job sites per all RPG manuals
- Confirm documentation for job site conditions are being completed and are accurate
Point out any deficiencies to Superintendent to make sure work meets RPG Standards
Walk jobsites to ensure quality work is being performed, create observations, punch RPG work
- On a regular basis make sure inspections are up to date, observations are being made
- Generate reports for each jobsite to send to superintendent and upper management to identify what is being done well and what needs improvement per the quality manual
