About CB2 Planning and Allocation
The CB2 Planning and Allocation team is responsible for designing and implementing thoughtful inventory and merchandise strategies that promote profitable sales growth and satisfy customer demand. Planning works closely with allocation who maximize company sales growth and profitability through efficient and effective inventory allocation and analysis.
Internship Summary
Our 10-week internship program will provide valuable exposure to the various areas and senior leadership within our CB2 Planning and Allocation organization, and will allow you to gain meaningful experiences created by our dynamic business environment. You will be stretched to build on existing skills and challenges to maximize your learning agility. Your role will be a blend of immersion into the daily work of the team, as well as a project that you will fully own, designed to directly transform our business.
- Be a part of a collaborative team and learn to work with cross functional teams like marketing and buying.
- Learn about the open to buy and understand how planning makes purchasing decisions to optimize customer sales
- Participate in promotional meetings and help with summary analysis
- Gain insight into end-to-end product purchasing; from the vendor to the customer’s door
- Engage with our store teams thru store visits, product allocation and sales summaries
- Proactively manage inventory allocation and distribution to minimize company backorders for select categories
Interns are eligible for full-time consideration based on overall performance throughout the program period.

Intern Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program; anticipated graduation in Spring/Summer 2027
- Academic excellence and community involvement
- Previous business, related internship, or work experience
- Ability to work full-time for 10 weeks during the summer (Mid June - Mid August 2026)
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without restrictions (will not require sponsorship for employment visa at any point in the future)
