Department Overview 

Branch Third-Party Suppliers Solutions serves and consults Private Client Group advisors with Raymond James broker/dealers, on third-party supplier software tools and services. In servicing advisors, Third-Party Supplier Solutions administers and educates advisors or branch personnel to help streamline their experience in a third-party supplier request process. Servicing also includes consulting on and advocating for readily available innovative software and service offerings.  

 

Job Summary 

The summer associate will focus on data analysis and tasks designed to help service the ongoing needs of branches seeking a third-party supplier and the transition of branch disclosures from a legacy process to a new process. The ideal candidate is excited to work in a fast-paced, growing area with a wide range of data coordination and analytics.  

Under general supervision, the summer associate will focus on data analysis for strategic project coordination, internal system troubleshooting, data collection for regulatory or internal legal/compliance needs, quality assurance of intranet pages, system integrity testing and general oversight assistance with third-party supplier requests.   

 

The summer associate position is a temporary role. 

 

Start Date: Monday, June 1, 2026 

End Date: Friday, August 7, 2026 

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities 

Learns and understands branch third-party supplier submission process to assist with investigative work or troubleshooting 

Upon request, pulls and coordinated data requests from ServiceNow third-party supplier request process dashboard 

Supports the execution of communication plans and projects via data analysis and updates 

Supports implementation of ongoing business processes. 

Ensures data quality and reliability. 

Collects and analyzes information from various sources. 

Collaborates with leadership to identify, define, and solve problems, supporting corporate initiatives. 

Cross-collaborates with compliance peer group, when necessary.  

Prepares presentations, management reports, documents analysis, and helps determine the best course of action. 

Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.  

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 

Knowledge of

Fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a professional office environment. 

Data visualizations and excel  

Large relational databases. 

Basic knowledge and familiarity with data mining and data visualization tools. 

 

Skill in

Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and statistical analysis of packages.  

Simplify and present time series and cross-sectional data. 

 

Ability to

Ability to respond to common data inquiries from internal teammates.  

Assist in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.  

Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.  

Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment. 

Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.  

Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.  

Provide a high level of customer service.  

Establish and maintain effective working relationships.  

 

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements 

Freshman or Sophomore standing (December 2027-May 2029 graduates) pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.  

Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources. 

Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (including beyond OPT/EAD).
