Department Overview
Raymond James Investment Management (“RJIM”) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Raymond James Financial. Distribution Data and Technology is part of RJIM’s Analytics team.
Job Summary
The summer associate will work closely with the Manager of Data & Analytics, providing analysis and reporting to support client-facing teams across RJIM. The ideal candidate possesses intellectual curiosity and is excited to work in a collegial environment.
The summer associate position is a temporary role.
Start Date: Monday, June 1, 2026
End Date: Friday, August 7, 2026
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Understanding the client facing business, data, and technology that supports the business.
- Tactical work: Lead generation management, campaign calls and analysis, trend analysis, sales portal development and support, and ad-hoc question management.
- Project: In collaboration with the team, develop version 2 of our client funnel to deepen insights with the client journey.
- Interfaces with teams across RJIM, including Sales and Distribution, Marketing, Advisory Services, IT, Investment Operations, and senior management, as well as teams at Raymond James Financial.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of
- Fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of a professional office environment.
Skill in
- Tableau and Excel.

- Self-direct research and internal projects.
- Be a self-starter who is comfortable in a less structured environment.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
- Full-time student at an accredited college/university, graduating December 2026 or later, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
- Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
- Eligible applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US and not require visa sponsorship now or in the future (including beyond OPT/EAD).
