This is a hands-on role ideal for students who want real experience in live event production, operations, and guest experience.
What You’ll Do
As an Event Intern, you’ll support our onsite events team across multiple event types, assisting with setup, guest flow, vendor coordination, and day-of logistics. Interns work directly with Event Managers and Producers and play a key role in delivering smooth and memorable experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with event setup and breakdown (signage, registration, materials, décor, etc.)
• Support registration check-in and guest services, including answering attendee questions
• Help manage guest flow, seating, and line control during peak periods
• Communicate with vendors, venue staff, and internal team members onsite
• Maintain event spaces by restocking materials, tidying high-traffic areas, and monitoring supplies
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and onsite problem-solving as directed
• Support team needs during live program moments (speaker prep, time checks, backstage support when applicable)
• Capture notes and post-event feedback for recap reporting (optional)

Qualifications
Required
• Currently enrolled in a college/university program (or recent graduate)
• Interest in event management, marketing, hospitality, communications, or related field
• Strong communication skills and customer-service mindset
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a dynamic environment
• Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to [25–40] lbs and assist with physical setup
• Availability for evening and weekend shifts (as needed based on event schedule)
Preferred
• Previous experience volunteering or working at events, hospitality, or customer service
• Familiarity with tools like Google Workspace, Airtable, Notion, or Slack
• Comfortable giving clear directions to attendees and assisting with crowd flow
• A flexible, proactive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
Work Environment
• This role is onsite and event-based (venue locations vary)
• Hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
