The Commercial team is essential to Tropicana Brand Group’s success by driving revenue growth, acquiring and retaining customers, and providing valuable market insights. Working closely with other departments to align sales strategies with business goals, help shape pricing and product development and keep the company competitive and responsive to market shifts. By building strong customer relationships, maximizing profitability, and identifying new opportunities for growth, the team contributes to both short-term and long-term success.
Your Next Pour: The Opportunity
We are looking for a Category Management/Commercial Strategy Intern who will participate in the Commercial Team Intern Rotation program. As part of this program, the intern will experience learning from and supporting two different teams within the Commercial (sales) team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to learn about different functions in Commercial that support our field sales with various projects and deliverables. This internship is responsible for supporting various teams in the development and implementation of process enhancements and participating in data collection and analysis to inform operational decisions. Additional responsibility include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects aimed at optimizing efficiency
Support the preparation of presentations for internal stakeholders regarding sales performance
- Assist in forecasting sales trends based on historical data and market analysis
- Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at improving sales strategies and processes
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and outcomes
- Perform other duties as assigned

Candidates will be working in an entrepreneurial, startup-like environment that is fast-paced and gritty. Ideal candidates will have excellent time management skills, resourceful, a keen attention to detail, and sense of curiosity. Given the rotational structure of this internship, candidates should also be very comfortable learning new systems and processes quickly and the delivery of work leveraging those new skills.

- Ability to learn new technologies, processes, and systems quickly
- Project management experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for engaging with diverse teams
- Passion for data analysis with strong Excel skills
- Initiative to resolve issues proactively and improve operational efficiency
Foundational Ingredients: Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be located in Chicago, IL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment
- Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment with 3-days in office, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or Statistics
- Rising senior undergraduate, or in a graduate program
The hourly rate for this position is $25.00.
