Documentation Intern
About the Role
We are looking for a Documentation Intern to support our documentation efforts at a medical billing software company. This role is ideal for English, Writing, Technical Communication, or related majors who enjoy transforming complex information into clear, user-friendly content.
You will work closely with our Documentation Team in a mentorship-focused environment where collaboration, learning, and growth are emphasized. This is a hands-on role, and the documentation you help create and improve will be used by real clients and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing and updating Knowledge Base articles
- Editing documentation for clarity, consistency, and accuracy
- Learning how software features and workflows are documented
- Turning support questions and internal notes into clear written guidance
- Organizing and improving existing documentation content
- Collaborating with Support, Product, and Development teams as needed
What We Are Looking For
- Currently pursuing a degree in English, Writing, Technical Communication, Journalism, or a related field
- Strong written communication skills
- Attention to detail and openness to feedback and revision
- Curiosity and comfort asking questions
- Ability to work primarily in-office, with the option to work from home on Fridays
- Interest in learning how documentation supports real-world software users
- No prior experience with medical billing or software documentation is required. Training and mentorship will be provided.
