Documentation Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a Documentation Intern to support our documentation efforts at a medical billing software company. This role is ideal for English, Writing, Technical Communication, or related majors who enjoy transforming complex information into clear, user-friendly content.

You will work closely with our Documentation Team in a mentorship-focused environment where collaboration, learning, and growth are emphasized. This is a hands-on role, and the documentation you help create and improve will be used by real clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and updating Knowledge Base articles
  • Editing documentation for clarity, consistency, and accuracy
  • Learning how software features and workflows are documented
  • Turning support questions and internal notes into clear written guidance
  • Organizing and improving existing documentation content
  • Collaborating with Support, Product, and Development teams as needed

What We Are Looking For

  • Currently pursuing a degree in English, Writing, Technical Communication, Journalism, or a related field
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and openness to feedback and revision
  • Curiosity and comfort asking questions
  • Ability to work primarily in-office, with the option to work from home on Fridays
  • Interest in learning how documentation supports real-world software users
  • No prior experience with medical billing or software documentation is required. Training and mentorship will be provided.
