Corporate Marketing Coordinator
Job Title: Corporate Marketing Coordinator – Gym Skills, LLC
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for promoting our Gym Skills programs, events, and membership through digital and community marketing, with a focus on growing enrollment and strengthening family engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and post engaging content on social media to highlight classes, camps, parties, and special events.
- Design simple branded graphics and flyers using basic design tools (e.g., Canva or similar) for in-gym and online promotion.
- Timely email blasts including newsletters and announcements to parents, vendors, community boards, including promotions, schedule updates, and event reminders.
- Support and promote monthly events (parents’ night out, camps, field trips and special themed classes) to drive attendance and new leads.
- Coordinate community outreach, including local schools, daycares, and family-focused businesses, to increase visibility and referrals.
- Help maintain and update the website and class pages with current schedules, promotions, and program information.
- Track basic marketing metrics (leads, trial classes, conversions, event attendance) and report results to the site director.
- Maintain a marketing calendar and ensure campaigns and posts go out on time.
- Create the Gym Skills marketing playbook, maintain the YouTube channel and LinkedIn platform.
- Capture and organize photos and short videos (with permission) from classes and events for marketing use.
- Ensure all marketing materials and messages reflect a fun, safe, family‑friendly brand voice.
- Liaise with Site Directors to ensure accurate messaging, schedule and meet with their teams to glean content, voice and imagery.
Qualifications and skills
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing, social media, content creation, or a related role, preferably in a family, fitness, or children’s program environment.
- Comfortable using social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) for business and basic design tools (e.g., Canva).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an upbeat, family‑friendly tone.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines.
- Comfortable interacting with parents, children, and community partners in person and online.
- Availability to support occasional evenings or weekends for events or promotions.
Work environment and schedule
- Works primarily on-site at Gym Skills, with some remote or off-site community outreach as needed.
- Full-time | Permanent; to include evenings and weekends tied to events, open houses, or seasonal promotions.
Compensation
$20.00-$25.00 USD per hour, medical, dental, vision
