Communications & Digital Strategy Intern

Internship Overview
The goal of SVARA’s Communications & Digital Strategy Internship is to provide college students with a meaningful, hands-on learning experience that builds real-world skills in nonprofit communications, digital marketing, and audience engagement. Interns will gain practical experience managing social media, supporting content creation, tracking analytics, and contributing to storytelling projects that help SVARA reach new audiences.

Interns will work closely with SVARA’s Communications Director to learn how mission-driven organizations craft brand identity, communicate impact, and grow community online. SVARA is deeply invested in centering the voices and experiences of people with marginalized identities, including but not limited to individuals who identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Color, LGBTQIA+, disabled, and neurodivergent.
