Role Details
- Expertly builds AI software that helps service-based businesses handle calls, messages, follow-ups, and scheduling automatically. This role focuses on introducing that software to hotels, salons, spas, and similar businesses.
- This is a phone-first outbound sales role. Cold calling is the core of the job. You’ll spend most of your day talking with business owners and managers, asking thoughtful questions, and booking meetings.
- We take hiring and training seriously and invest in coaching, support, and clear expectations so people can succeed long-term.
- Strong performers may take on additional responsibility over time, including running introductory demos for some prospects, doing limited in-person outreach when local, and occasionally supporting trade shows or in-person events.
What You’ll Do
- Make a high volume of outbound calls every day
- Start conversations, build rapport, and listen carefully
- Qualify interest and book meetings
- Clearly explain how Expertly’s AI software improves responsiveness and reduces missed calls
Who This Role Is Best Suited For
- This role is best suited for people who competed as athletes in school, especially team sports. Athletes are used to showing up every day, doing the reps, focusing on incremental improvement, and getting better over time. That mindset translates directly to high-volume outbound sales.
- Friendly and thoughtful communicators who enjoy being on the phone and engaging with new people tend to do best.
