Technology & Digital Media Intern
We are seeking a Technology, Digital Media & Operations Intern to support the development, organization, and optimization of our digital systems, social media content, and internal workflows. This role is designed for a student interested in applied technology, digital content strategy, and business operations within a growing, brand-driven business.
The internship is tool- and platform-agnostic, focusing on transferable skills such as systems thinking, content planning, user experience, and process improvement.
Primary Responsibilities
Technology & Digital Systems
- Assist with setup, testing, and support of business technology tools (e.g., scheduling, POS, CRM, email, forms, automation platforms)
- Support website updates, backend organization, and booking or customer experience workflows
- Organize, clean, and maintain digital data and contact lists
- Research and evaluate technology tools and solutions based on business needs
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and system optimization
- Support reporting, dashboards, and performance tracking
Digital Media, Social Content & UX
- Assist with social media content creation, including short-form video, captions, and visual assets
- Support development and management of a content calendar
- Research content ideas, trends, hashtags, and platform best practices
- Assist with scheduling and publishing content across social platforms
- Help repurpose content across web, email, and social channels
- Support brand consistency and visual presentation across digital platforms
- Provide basic engagement and performance insights
Business & Project Support
- Assist with documentation and creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Support project coordination, task tracking, and timelines
- Conduct research related to tools, trends, and digital best practices
- Assist with internal communications and scheduling as needed

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Maryland college or university
- Interest in technology, digital media, or business operations
- Comfortable learning new tools and platforms
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience with digital tools (social platforms, design tools, spreadsheets, CMS, analytics) is a plus but not required
Compensation
$18-23 per hour
