Public Relations Intern Fall 2025
Banter PR Paid Internship — Winter/Spring 2026
Banter PR is a next-gen public relations agency built for brands with something to say. We specialize in beverage, lifestyle, and culture-driving clients — think craft distilleries, quirky gins, iconic champagnes, cult non-alc spirits, and entrepreneurs who re-write the rules.
We’re looking for a sharp, curious, and culture-tapped intern to join our small but mighty team. This isn’t a coffee-run gig (unless it’s to test Char & Stave’s espresso martini, in which case, we’ll join you). You’ll be in the mix across client campaigns, media pitching, and creative brainstorms — with a front-row seat to how bold ideas turn into headlines, events, and scroll-stopping moments.
What You’ll Do:
- Support account teams on day-to-day PR tasks — drafting contact lists, tracking media coverage, and managing sample mailings
- Research cultural trends, events, and media angles that inform client strategies
Jump into brainstorms and help spark big ideas for press, events, and social activations - Assist with event planning and on-the-ground execution for client activations
- Keep the Banter team organized (and laughing) with admin support where needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail (bonus if you can make copy snappy, not stuffy)
- Curiosity about the media landscape, especially in spirits, food, lifestyle, and culture
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to roll up sleeves
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same
- Social savvy — you know what’s trending, what’s tired, and what’s next
Perks:
- Hands-on experience working directly with high-profile beverage and lifestyle brands
- Networking opportunities with media, influencers, and industry insiders
- A front-row seat at client events, pop-ups, and brand activations
- A small, collaborative team where your ideas matter (and good banter is encouraged)
Details:
- Location: Philadelphia (hybrid — office days in our Fishtown/Olde Kensington space + WFH flexibility)
- Hours: 15–20 hours per week, flexible around class schedules
- $10/hour
- Duration: January–May 2026 (with potential to extend)
