Internship Overview
We are seeking a motivated and creative Unpaid Marketing Intern to support our sales and marketing initiatives. This role offers an exciting opportunity to dive into digital marketing, gain real-world experience in content creation and paid advertising. Reporting directly to our VP of Sales and Marketing, Chantell Zarrillo, you'll play a key role in amplifying our brand voice across social media and targeted ad campaigns. Ideal for students or recent graduates passionate about healthcare marketing, this internship emphasizes practical skills development and mentorship.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm, create, and schedule engaging social media content (e.g., posts, stories, reels, and graphics) for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Assist in developing content strategies aligned with Patient's Choice Lab's brand guidelines, focusing on healthcare education, patient testimonials, and promotional campaigns.
- Support the creation and optimization of paid advertising campaigns on platforms like Facebook Ads, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, including audience targeting, ad copywriting, and budget tracking.
- Monitor social media analytics and campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or Hootsuite; prepare simple reports on engagement metrics and ROI.
- Research trending topics in health and wellness to inform content ideas and ad targeting.
- Participate in team brainstorming sessions, providing fresh perspectives on campaign concepts and visual storytelling.
- Handle basic administrative tasks, such as content scheduling and asset organization, to ensure smooth campaign execution.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment in or recent graduate of a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in social media marketing and digital advertising; basic familiarity with platforms and tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark, or Meta Ads Manager) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a creative flair for storytelling and audience engagement.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a collaborative environment.
- Passion for healthcare, wellness, or patient advocacy is highly desirable.
- Reliable access to a computer and internet
