Hands-On Sign Shop Intern – Design & Fabrication (Paid)

Are you studying graphic design, construction, or electrical systems at CPCC and looking for hands-on experience? Join Charlotte Sign Studio as a paid intern and get real-world exposure to custom sign production, field surveys, and digital print workflows.

You’ll work directly with our project managers and production team to:

Capture accurate site measurements and document sign locations

Prep and produce signage using large-format printers, vinyl cutters, and laminators

Assist with basic layout and file prep using Adobe Illustrator

Learn how signs are installed on facades, monuments, and vehicles

This role is ideal for students in Advertising & Graphic Design, Construction Management, or Electrical Systems Technology who want to apply their classroom knowledge to the real world. No sign experience needed but awesome if you do have some. We’ll train you on tools, materials, and techniques used across the sign industry.

This is a paid internship with flexible hours and potential for a full-time role.
