Summer Camp Lead Coach (Sport Director)

Seeking experienced coaches that are looking for a highly impactful and structured all girls multi-sport camp like no other! We are hiring for Volleyball, Tennis & Pickleball, Martial Arts, Softball/Baseball, Field Hockey, Soccer, Flag Football, Basketball, Lacrosse and Dance

As a Sport Director (Lead Coach), you will help organize and execute a Game On! Curriculum designed to teach girls grades Pre-K through 8th the fundamentals in your sport. You will focus on creating a fun, engaging, and supportive environment that encourages athletes to grow both in skill & confidence and work closely with camp staff to ensure an empowering camp experience. Directors will lead hands-on lessons, supervise camp activities, and promote the joy of sport through a positive, safe, and energetic atmosphere.

Desired Skills & Expertise:

  • Experience coaching or teaching kids in the sport
  • Strong athletic background (competitive club, high school or college sport experience is a plus)
  • Passionate about empowering and fostering kids’ growth through sports
  • Excellent communication skills, especially with children
  • Self-motivated, high-energy, and enthusiastic
  • Dynamic team player and responsible role model
  • Strong leadership abilities with the ability to be a team player
  • Organized, responsible, and patient role model

Camp Location:

  • Chicago - Walt Disney Magnet School - 4140 N Marine Dr, Chicago, Illinois 60613
  • Glencoe - South School - 266 Linden Ave, Glencoe, IL 60022

Camp Dates:

  • Chicago - June 15th to July 31st
  • Glencoe Main Camp Season - June 15th to August 7th
  • Glencoe Extension Weeks - August 10th to August 21st

Hours:

  • Staff - 8:15a.m. to 3:30p.m.
  • Campers - 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m.

Days:

  • Monday to Friday

PART-TIME options available for candidates who cannot commit to all weeks of camp but can commit to 4 weeks or more or have time constraints that can still meet our needs. 


 

ABOUT GAME ON! SPORTS CAMP 4 GIRLS

Girls 4-14 of all skill levels learn and play multiple sports daily in an empowering and FUN environment. Game On! may offer campers daily/weekly exposure to a wide range of sports including: lacrosse, field hockey, soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball, tennis, pickleball, flag football & more. While sports and active play happen all day, we also work to impact each camper's growth on and off the field, integrating lessons focusing on self-esteem, respect, nutrition, teamwork, leadership, sportsmanship, & more. Camp includes exposure to role models through highly trained staff, motivational speakers, clinics, and field trips. Since 2007, our mission has been to ensure every Game On! Girl experiences growth as an athlete and a person, along with feeling empowered, confident, proud & "GirlStrong."
