Internship Schedule: Summer 2026 Mid May-August. Available to work Monday-Friday + Some Weekends
Location: Holland, MI (on-site)
The Opportunity:

Join us as a Marketing and Events team intern in Holland, Michigan. This position supports both our marketing and leadership teams with media highlights, marketing campaigns, content creation, community outreach, and event support. At Big Lake Brewing you’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple marketing disciplines while contributing to strategies that create a huge local impact.
What you’ll do:
- Collaborate with marketing and leadership teams to align brand messaging and generate creative ideas
- Support digital marketing efforts including social media (Instagram and Facebook), as well as bi-weekly marketing emails and website content review
- Assist in planning and executing our summer events such as The Big Swing Golf Outing, Summer Solstice Party, and Big Lake’s 13th Anniversary Party
- Help support internal communications including photos, videos, newsletters and engagement strategies
- Analyze trends, research competitors, and identify new opportunities for campaigns
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Part time or full time enrollment at the junior or senior level in an accredited program pursuing a degree in business, marketing, communications or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram and Facebook) and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe).
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Overall GPA of 2.95 or higher
- 21+ years of age or turning 21 during the internship
