We are seeking an intern to assist in a DNA barcoding study of the host plants of Pedicularis densiflora, a parasitic plant native to California and Oregon.
The intern will work in the Field Museum's Pritzker Lab for Molecular Systematics, preparing amplicon libraries for sequencing. Previous experience working with DNA is preferred but not required; all training in lab protocols will be provided.
Contingent on performance and interest, the intern will be offered co-authorship on resulting publications.
Salary of $17.75 per hour @ 19 hours per week for 12 weeks. Preferred start date of February 9th or 23rd, 2026.
