Finance Intern 

Position Title: Finance Intern
Employment Type: Internship (Part-Time)
Duration: 3–6 months

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Finance Intern to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in financial modeling, asset management, and cloud-based cost analysis. The ideal candidate will assist in building cost models, analyzing financial data, and supporting strategic decisions related to cloud infrastructure and technology investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain financial models to forecast costs and evaluate business scenarios.
  • Support pricing analysis and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Assist in tracking and reporting on company assets, including technology and infrastructure.
  • Help maintain accurate records for depreciation, valuation, and lifecycle management.
  • Analyze cloud service usage and associated costs to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
  • Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to align cloud spending with budgetary goals.
  • Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial standards.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling concepts and cloud computing basics preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Knowledge of cost optimization strategies for cloud services.
  • Basic understanding of asset lifecycle management and depreciation methods.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
