About Us

Evo Associates is a management consultancy built on a contrarian premise: neither your MBA nor your company taught you how teams actually work. We apply complexity science to help organizations build teams that perform - not through heroic leaders, but by understanding how groups develop collective capability organically. Less org chart, more ecosystem.

We're a new practice founded by Dr. Michael Morand - Fortune 50 strategist, Military Veteran, Adjunct Professor, Non-Profit Trustee, and alum of UMass, Oklahoma, NYU, and Temple. You'd be getting in early.

The Role

You'll work directly with our founder across the full range of building a consulting practice from the ground up:

• Research & Methodology - Dig into complexity science, organizational psychology, and team dynamics to sharpen our frameworks and challenge our assumptions
• Content & Marketing - Support development of articles, social media presence, and podcast production
• Business Development - Help build engagement strategies and client-facing resources
• Operations - Create processes that don't exist yet

This isn't a "fetch coffee and format slides" internship. You'll do real work on real problems, and your thinking will shape what we build.

You

• Undergraduate or graduate student in Business, Psychology, or related field
• Excellent communicator - writing matters here
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Curious about why conventional wisdom on leadership and teams keeps failing
• Comfortable with ambiguity (we're building the plane while flying it)

Details

• 20-40 hours/week (flexible)
• Paid position
• Primarily on-site in Princeton, NJ
• June - August (dates negotiable)
