School Psychology Intern
As a School Psychology Intern at Green Tree School & Services, you will provide psychological and educational support to students while developing your professional skills under the supervision of a certified School Psychologist. You’ll gain hands-on experience conducting assessments, facilitating interventions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to promote student success.
What You’ll Need
Enrollment in a graduate program in school psychology with eligibility for an internship
Minimum of two years of experience in school settings providing assessment, counseling, and/or consultation (experience in urban settings preferred)
Knowledge of assessment, intervention, and behavior support strategies for students with disabilities
Current Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 clearances
Ability to build positive, culturally competent relationships with students, families, and staff
What You’ll Do
Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral assessments, and write clear, comprehensive reports with actionable, evidence-based recommendations.
Contribute to IEP development and provide input on behavioral and social-emotional goals
Deliver individual and group counseling and crisis intervention services
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide consultation to staff and families
Analyze student and program data to inform MTSS implementation and intervention planning
