Event & Fundraising Intern
Overview
RRUFF Healing Heroes is seeking a motivated Event & Fundraising Intern to support the planning and execution of our annual Heroes & Hounds Hoorah fundraiser, silent auction operations, and ongoing donor activities. This role is ideal for students interested in event management, nonprofit operations, fundraising, or community engagement.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with event planning, silent auction preparation, vendor coordination, and sponsor follow-up
• Apply for and secure in-kind donations from local and national businesses
• Organize, track, and package in-kind donations for the silent auction
• Create event signage, branded materials, and donor-facing collateral
• Support donor outreach through emails, phone calls, and stewardship tasks
• Help with event-day logistics and onsite coordination
• Occasionally pick up donated items using a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)

Qualifications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Follow-through and ability to meet deadlines

• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
Hours & Expectations
• 6–10 hours per week
• ~50/50 in-office and remote
• Occasional local travel (mileage reimbursed)
• Paid internship
• Available Spring or Summer 2026
