Creative Social Media & Community Manager
Are you a social media wizard who loves storytelling and has a pulse on what makes a community special? I have been a leader in the real estate industry for 30 years, and I’m looking for someone creative to help me showcase not just homes, but the lifestyle of our beautiful towns.
This is not just about selling real estate, It’s about the best coffee in town, fun things to do in the South Mountain Reservation, or the excitement of a new boutique opening. . I need someone to be my digital eyes and ears, creating "hyper-local" content that makes people fall in love with the communities I sell in.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation: Film, edit, and post high-energy Reels, TikToks, and Instagram Stories.
Community Spotlights: Head "out on the town" to capture photos/videos of new store openings, local parks, schools, and seasonal events.
Brand Voice: Maintain an inviting, fun, and professional presence across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
Engagement: Stay active on local community groups and interact with followers to keep the conversation going.
Strategy: Bring fresh ideas to the table—tell me what’s trending and how we can use it to stand out.
What You Bring to the Table
Social Media Savvy: You live and breathe Reels, Stories, and short-form video. You know how to use trending audio and transitions effectively.
Creative Eye: You have a talent for photography and videography (even if it’s just with a high-quality smartphone).
Local Passion: You either live in or are very familiar with the Short Hills/Millburn, Livingston, Montclair and all sourrounding areas and enjoy exploring local gems.
Self-Starter: Since this is mostly remote, you are disciplined, communicative, and organized.
Personality: You are "people-oriented" and feel comfortable chatting with a shop owner or filming a quick interview on the fly.
