Position Overview
CIG Communities is seeking a motivated and organized Intern to support our Executive Office and Operations team. This role will work closely with the Executive Assistant and Assistant Director of Operations to help roll out new programs and initiatives, revamp and document policies, and improve internal processes across the organization.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to executive support, operations, office management, and process improvement within a property management company.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Initiative Support
Assist with the setup, coordination, and rollout of new internal programs and operational initiatives.
Help track project timelines, action items, and deliverables.
Support cross-functional coordination related to operational improvements.
Policy Development & Process Improvement
Assist in reviewing, updating, and revamping existing policies and procedures.
Help draft new policies, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
Support documentation and organization of internal processes and best practices.
Administrative & Operational Support
Organize project files, update shared documentation, and maintain internal resources.
Support data collection, research, and reporting as needed.
Office Management & Ad-Hoc Support
Support general office management needs, including stocking groceries, snacks, and office supplies.
Assist with maintaining a well-organized, functional, and welcoming office environment.
Help with special projects, event coordination, research tasks, and other ad-hoc needs as they arise.

Preferred Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in business, operations, management, communications, or a related field.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with or interest in SharePoint and internal document management systems.
Curiosity about and interest in AI tools, automation, and process-enhancing technologies.
Professionalism, discretion, and strong time-management skills.
