Summer Tax Intern

Description:

The tax intern will support the local U.S. tax team based in our New York office during the summer months.

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide general support for annual partnership tax compliance for U.S. and foreign LLPs
  • Review draft K-1s and tax returns prepared by external tax advisor
  • Manage and file electronic documents (tax notices, tax returns, etc.)
  • Assist with periodic sales tax review
  • Collect charitable contribution letters to support deductions to be taken by the partnership

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Tax
  • An interest in tax; previous tax experience a plus
  • Superior attention to detail and organizational ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Access and Adobe Acrobat is preferred

The hourly salary range for this position is $30 to $35. The actual hourly rate offered will depend on the overall qualifications of the individual applicant for the position and other job-related factors permitted by law.
