Sales / Business Development Intern
About the Role
We are seeking Sales and Business Development Interns to help expand our presence in the Lubbock restaurant market. In this role, you will reach out to restaurant owners and managers to introduce and pitch Bite Buddy, an AI-powered Voice AI hostess that handles phone orders and reservations automatically.
This is a great opportunity for students or early-career professionals interested in sales, startups, AI technology, and hospitality tech.
What You’ll Do
Reach out to local restaurant owners and decision-makers via phone, in-person visits, and email
Pitch Bite Buddy (https://bitebuddy.ai) and explain how it improves phone order handling and reservations
Identify restaurant pain points and position BiteBuddy as a solution
Schedule demos and follow-ups with interested restaurants
Track outreach and conversations in a simple CRM or spreadsheet
Provide feedback from the field to help improve our sales approach
What We’re Looking For
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable talking to business owners and handling objections
Interest in sales, business development, AI, or restaurant technology
Self-motivated and goal-oriented
Reliable transportation (preferred for in-person visits)
No prior sales experience required — training provided
