About our Team: Our Engineering team located in Tapestry’s Jacksonville Fulfillment Center is focused on maintaining productivity standards, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and ensuring the Operation has the tools they need to be successful. This team uses time study and statistical analyses to update productivity standards and reflect the actual work being performed by our operational associates. Our Engineering team will identify opportunities for improvement, perform the necessary cost-benefit analyses, and liaise with Operations to implement solutions regarding those opportunities. Additionally, Engineering will facilitate providing the necessary tools for Operations to be successful. This includes purchasing or building tools to aid in daily decision making.
Internship Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive data analyses to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement within supply chain operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions to address operational challenges.
Design and implement interactive dashboards and data visualization tools to effectively communicate critical operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, and business stakeholders, to understand their data needs and priorities.
Leverage data-driven techniques, such as process mining and process mapping, to gain comprehensive insights into existing processes. Conduct in-depth analyses of current operational processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
