Customer Service Representative

Role Overview:  

 

A Customer Service Representative with Warehouse responsibilities works in all aspects of customer service, including product selection, order processing, and inventory management. This role may also involve helping in the warehouse—from stocking and retrieving items to making deliveries, operating a forklift, pitching in with housekeeping, and supporting general branch needs. 

 

A Sample of What You’ll Do in this Role: 

Assist with electronic order entry and processing utilizing JD Edwards Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software  

Respond to customer inquiries in a timely, accurate, and appropriate manner  

Submit and code bills and invoices to the AP department for payment 

Work closely with the Sales and Operations teams to maintain adequate inventory levels to meet customer needs  

Assist with monthly inventory cycle counts and annual inventory  

Support the Sales Team with inaccurate customer pricing and quickly resolve any inquiries or concerns  

Prepare reports under the manager’s supervision 

Aid team members in administrative tasks 

Organize and stage inventory in designated warehouse areas for efficient access and safety compliance

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders; report discrepancies promptly

Assist with loading and unloading trucks and coordinating outbound shipments

Safely operate warehouse equipment (training provided) and adhere to all safety protocols

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of warehouse spaces to meet safety standards

 

What You Bring to the Role:    

0-1 years of experience 

High School Diploma or equivalent

AP and AR experienced required

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite  

Willingness to learn JD Edwards (training will be provided)  

The ability to accurately apply basic math concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios 

Mobility to move freely across uneven terrain both indoors and outdoors safely 

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods

Compensation and Benefits:  

The base compensation for this position ranges from $18.51 to $24.67 per hour. Please note that wages may vary depending on skills and experience.
